What a great weekend we had. Friday dinner at Grammy and Grammpys. The Easter bunny came early (Saturday) cause mom and dad had a free night at the Westin (Thanks Lori). So the kids were loaded with chocolate and we took them swimming at the hotel for the afternoon. Nana and Pappa then came to pick them up to take them home for a sleep over at their place. The weather was really great this weekend too. Joey and Elly had fun bike riding on the road and trying out their new bubbles ( and eating dirt)

Playdate with the MacVicars
Today, Elly and Joey had a fun play date with their friends Jamie and Ethan MacVicar. The kids played and the moms gabbed. Gourmet tuna sandwiches, a lovely fruit tray and sippie cups of apple juice were enjoyed by all. Here are some of the photo highlights around the picnic table.

This morning
This morning I woke up showered fed the dog and got ready for work. I heard Joey in his room fussing so I told Angie I would go get him and change him. Normally in the morning I peek my head in and he'll pout with the bottom lip and cry a bit and then squeek out a "DORA" (he loves Dora). This morning however when I poked my head in he just sat there and pouted and I noticed he was holding his right hand up and away from his body. After further inspection I foud out why. His hand was covered in Poo Poo. I yelled to Angie to start the bath. We remoed the jammy bottoms and his legs were covered in poo and we removed the jammy top and he was covered from his shoulders all the way down his back.
I think we learned a few lessons. (1) Two piece jammies have a far too easy access to the rump area and (2) Three chocolate BRAN muffins is more than enough for a Hornes digestive system to handle.
